Blackberry - Banana Smoothie With Wheatgrass Recipe

BlackBerry - Banana Smoothie with Wheatgrass

It was 37 C degrees outside yesterday morning. I prepared this powerful smoothie with ice cubes. That was what I had in my mind after waking up and doing my morning yoga... Ice cubes!

An easy, antioxidant-rich recipe for thick, refreshing smoothies with wheatgrass powder.
Paleo, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free.
Wheatgrass is considered a super food and contains vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, iron, calcium, magnesium and chlorophyll (increases red blood cells, prevents cancer, aging and much more).
Ingredients

1 banana (sliced)
1/2 cup almond milk
1 cup blackberries (fresh or frozen)
1 tsp wheatgrass powder
3 ice cubes (crushed)

Using a blender mix almond milk, banana slices, wheatgrass powder for a minute. Add blackberries, ice cubes and blend for another minute until thoroughly mixed. Pour into a small glass. I used a jar and served right away with a straw.
Perfect start to a summer day!

  8. I love a good smoothie and I will definitely be borrowing from this recipe. I don’t like blackberries in my smoothie because of the little seeds or whatever but I’ll probably sub with strawberries.

  11. This sounds really yummy. I've never tried putting wheatgrass in a smoothie before. I'm sure the fruit helps disguise the flavour.
