P.S Please don't eat this!

Banana Bread

2 bananas(mashed)
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup milk
2 cups whole wheat flour
1/2 cup baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup nuts(optional)
pinch of salt

In a large bowl, combine sugar, oil, milk and eggs. Beat in bananas. Add remaning dry ingredients. Bake in 350 degrees in a greased, floured 9x13 inch pan. This is the first time I used whole wheat flour instead all purpose for this recipe. We loved it!

Aria asked me to make a banana bread yesterday. So I noticed, haven't shared this with you guys yet! I was in hurry and saved some of it in a container to take a picture later.
After the breakfast I took Aria to the water park which is very close to home. He loves this place. My hubby didn't join us.
He had things to do. Whatever, everybody was happy!

When we got back home, grabbed the camera, walked in to the kitchen.
I would post it after the dinner. Container was there, not placed into the diswasher. But only the crumbs remain ;(
My hubby ate it all!!!
I left a message about a few things but forgot to tell him not to eat it.
So I decided to put his picture instead. Isn't it a good idea?

This is my guy! Love him. He is a good friend. And good friend is hard to find!

  1. Oh, and he ate it! I actually like to make a banana bread with leftover bananas that are too soft to eat plain. I don't mind baking, it's the cooking thing I can't stand. LOL

  2. I think I can still see some of the banana bread crumbs on his face :-)

  3. Sounds yummy! I love bananna bread! :)

  4. I love banana bread but have never made my own. I think I will try this! your guy has very kind eyes! But I bet even if you left a note, he may have eaten it anyway. Men have a tendency to do that!

  5. I love anything that has bananas in them and this sounds really yummy!!!

You have such great recipes. Your hubby must be a very happy man!!

  6. Hello Yonca!

My friend is from Turkey and she makes some delicious things all the time. Her little girl is Mina and her name is Elif.

Nice to meet you! Stop by anytime. We're giving away A MICHE Bag this month and some jewelry among other things!

  10. Thanks for sharing the recipe. This same thing happens at my house. I now hide anything that I need to photograph or that I want at least one slice of. The good news is that it must be amazing banana bread if he ate the whole thing!

  11. looks like this is going to be on my Sunday brunch! I wonder if this will work in muffins too...

  12. That is funny. The same thing happened to me with a pie recipe I was posting once!

  13. I would have eaten the whole thing too! It is one of my favorite foods. I love food in general. I will have to make this for me and my son. My husband won't eat anything with nuts. Just means more for me! :)

  14. oh cute post! great picture of your guy! and I would have eaten it all too! I'm the worst with baked goods. I have to bake when the kids are already home or there might not be any when they get home!!!

  15. LOL, he ate the entire thing??? That's so funny!
