Savory Apple Mushroom Sauté

A quick and easy dish, gets all the attention. Enjoy cooking and serving a healthy and tasty fall meal to your loved ones! If you will spend a Saturday night with your partner at home, don't even worry about cooking. Just enjoy the night with a glass of Da Vinci Chianti? Pinot Noir or maybe beer?

8 oz. white mushrooms (sliced)
1 c. apples (cored, sliced)
1 T. lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
1 tsp thyme
Salt, pepper

Melt butter over medium heat and add apple cuts. Cook about 5 minutes.
Add mushrooms, thyme, pepper, salt and keep cooking a few more minutes. Stir in lemon juice.

Served with rice and thinly sliced chicken breast on top.

Happy cooking! Happy Fall!
