Another kitchen adventure of mine;)

It's one of my favorite Turkish traditional foods. When you take a look at the ingredients to cook this dessert, maybe looks like a little complicated but I will share you an easy way, give you my own recipe which really is fun.

What makes this dessert very special is;

Patriarch Noah saves himself, his family, and a remnant of all the world's animals with that food. When Noah and his animals were about to run out of food on the arc, he found a way to cook for everyone and feed them. He mixed all ingredients were left and cooked. That tasty food he created was good enough to feed his family, his voyagers and animals to survive. The resulting dish was a pudding and it turned into a traditional food in Turkey and called, asure.  It is vegan, and one of the very well-known and the most popular vegan desserts in Turkish cuisine.
It brings the history into our kitchens every year in this season.
Every year people cook this tasty/ healthy pudding as a tradition and share with friends, neighbors, classmates and co-workers as an offering of peace and love.
Do you wanna try? I'll take you guys on another kitchen adventure today to yonca's kitchen, ready?

The smartest idea to feed so many people mixing whatever ingredients were left and cooked them together and serving the same food to everyone.

Here is the resulting dish recipe of Noah's Pudding!  The most cherished Turkish dessert, original name is Asure ( pronounced 'a shoe ray').

My sister Nigar took this picture :)

İngredients;

10 cups water
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup barley
Orange zest(finely grated of one orange)
1 cup chickpeas (can), washed/drained
1 cup white kidney beans (can), washed/drained
8 dry apricots (soaked in water overnight/ cut in pieces)
8 dry figs (cut in pieces)
1/2 cup raisins

Garnish:
Pomogranate seeds, walnuts(crushed), cinnamon
Orange or tangerine peel

You will need a large pot for this recipe. Put the barley and 4 cups of water in the pot and bring the barley and water to the boil on high heat. Then turn it down to medium-low heat and cook for about half an hour. Add the beans, chickpeas, orange zest, apricots, raisins, figs, sugar and 6 cups of hot water. Cook for about 45 minutes on medium-low heat. Stir occasionally. Pour into a large service bowl and let cool then keep it in the refrigerator. When serving, garnish with pomegranate seeds and gently crushed walnuts.

Enjoy!

He can make his own music! Review; Magix Music Maker 2013

Making music is becoming more popular and more fun, if you have an audio program, a music creator like MAGIX Music Maker 2013 which is available to everyone for composing and producing music for beginners and also professionals.

After loops, vocals, MIDI, beats, etc. are utilized and the final step is mastering. Most audio programs like Music Maker 2013 include numerous loops. Make your own music without prior knowledge with this wonderful audio program. You can use VST instruments and effects.

Aria loves it!!!  He was so proud what he created when he listened his own music first time;)
He smiled and he said 'ma, now it's snack time!'..Boys! After snack, he kept saying 'make music, make music..' which is another, I mean the latest make up song of him after we got this software for review.

He was the one using this software, so he is gonna explain his opinions to you guys about it :)

What 'equipment' do you need in your kitchen?

If you are not really interested in cooking, kitchen equepments might seem a little complicated to you. Having specific tools/equipment can just speed things up a lot. Otherwıse you probably need an alien (like E.T) touch while cooking :D

You'll figure out which ones you need and want to invest in (or get inexpensively from thrift shops, relatives, Walmart/etc, online, etc) as you go along.
For a start, stock up on basic kitchen utensils such as a spatula, whisk, ladle, mixing spoon, tongs, grater, juicer, peeler, colander, can opener, serving spoon and a slotted spoon, measuring cup..

OK. If you are a good cook or at least you are not that clueless on cooking, maybe you got already bored and stopped reading this post, lol..

Even though you have already set up your kitchen you might need some more tools/equipments, like me anyway. :D
For instans, lately I terribily need an egg poacher though. Spray the cup with low fat spray oil and get them out with a rubber spatula.. and goodness knows it's that easy!!!
You'll end up with the perfectly poached egg.
                                                   Hmmmmmmmm......:))

Life is good, because...

Look, no hands!

..it is fun even though it is not easy.
Doing things you really like makes you feel happy and so many fun things to do in life;)

Shopping
Yeah, I know..it's not suppose to be the top of the list. But we all know how necessary it is, right?

Conversation with a very good friend and a lot of lauthers
Do you always laught at real funny things? No matter what you're laughing for anyway.
Lauther keeps us nice.

Spending some time with kids..They make us laugh too;))
Sometimes to silly things kids made..Even though you find yourself trying to cover a smile or hide the fact that you're laughing..you don’t want to encourage the behavior if the kids around, because 'it is not funny'! Sounds familiar?

Good food& fine wine
Preparing food and garnishing is fun! A delicious meal always imresses me. Good food and a glass of fine wine combination. One without the other is like cheese without bread;)
Enjoy sniffing furiously at your glass, sloshing the liquid around in your mouth fervently and feel the flavor! Oh come on..You don't have to be a wine expert to know if it is the good one or not, just feel it!

Eating out with someone special
İt is worth to wait all week. Choosing a dress, taking a shower with a parfumed shampoo&bath jel,
having a lovely conversation, maybe a romantic dance?

..and having a job to provide for all !
Life is worth living.

Of course you have more choices! Just visit Gourmet Gift Baskets, order your choice online right away and make your people smile:)

By the way, it's not always easy to compose a gift message to someone a gift. A meaningful message! Ugh! If you 're good at this, it's an ordinary thing maybe for you. But not for everyone, right?

A few tips, hope those can help:)

-It's a good rule to say what you really mean rather than second guess what you think the person might be expecting.
-Even though your gift may be late, do not apologize for the tardiness in the first line as this tends to put the emphasis on you and sets up a defensive tone.
-Make sure you have the proper spelling of the person's name.
-A late gift and note is vastly preferable to no gift and note at all.
-Use notes to introduce a personal element into your business relationships, especially when someone has done more than what the occasion calls for.

Done with school

Guest Post

Content by Kyle Lowe

I am so ready to be done with school! I feel like I've been a student my entire life and I just can't wait to get out in the real world and start earning money like everyone else. I've been training for years and years to be a specialist in my field and I'm lucky because I feel like I'm going to have a fairly easy time getting a job when I'm out in the real world. A lot of my friends who got really general degrees can't say the same thing... I've been the best student I possibly could have been during my tenure in school and I feel like I'm pretty well prepared to take on any kind of job that comes my way. I use my clear internet lteall the time to study so I’m relatively technologically adaptable and I also feel like the fact that I read a lot really put me in a good position. I just can't wait to get out there and start interviewing for the job of my dreams

“better ingredients, better pizza.”

It seems that the company really sticks to its slogan which discribes this taste very well. I love Papa John's Pizza. Years ago I worked for them:) The dough is really better..I might say the same thing for ingredients honestly!

If you tried Papa John's Pizza you might be agree with me when you compare it with other pizzerias.

Actually, you can easly shave a couple bucks off the price with coupons. You can utilize coupons for Papa John’s either by printing them off your computer and bringing them into your local Papa John’s location, or by using a Papa John’s promo code on their web site.

Papa John's also in Turkey but unfortunutely there is no Papa John's here in Izmir. We have Domino's Pizza but as I mentioned it, I am a Papa John's lover:) Especially their thin crust was my favorite and instead calling them to order, I used to order online.

You guys, do it online if you want to try Papa john's pizza!

Hmmm... I'm thinking of Tuscan Six Cheese right now:)

Take a look sides on their menu. You would find very good tastes I promise!

Spicy Buffalo Wings, Permesan Bread Sticks, BBQ Chicken Strips..all yummy:)

Cinnepie of Papa John's is a wonderful dessert, taste it soon! You would thank me:)

Enjoy your weekend with Papa John's!

But if you're insist to make your own pizza, here is a recipe for you..Do you have any great (or terrible) pizza experiences?

3 Cups flour. 1 1/3 Cups water (warm, for the yeast)1 package quick-rising yeast.Salt (approx. 1/2 tsp)Sugar (approx. 1/2 tsp)Extra Virgin Olive Oil (approx 1 1/2 tbsp. Grated Parmesan Cheese (I don't have limit for this:))

Mix yeast with warm water. You want to do this first so that the yeast has time to"get going" before you add it to the rest of the ingredients.. Mix flour, sugar, salt, cheese, and oil in bowl. Add water and yeast to bowl. Mix until all ingredients are blended. When ingredients are mixed, dough should be sticky to the touch, but not torunny. Then "cut" the dough at least a dozen times, with mixingspoon. This is what takes the place of kneading the dough. Let dough rise for 30-45 minutes. Rember that it needs to be bothwarm and moist to rise. Just a tip; turn the oven on bake for about 3 minutes then turn it off, open the door for a few seconds and let it cool down slightly. Then cover the bowl with a wet towel, and place in the oven, close the door. Take the dough out. Don't forget to lightly sprinkle it with flour to keep it from sticking to your hands and "punch" the dough down. Don't remove from bowl. Let rise for another 30 minutes. Total risingtime should be between 45 minutes and just over an hour. Grease your pizza pan using a small amount of olive oil or oilspray and put the dough on the pan. Dust dough with flour again and spread it onto the pan. As long as you grease the pan, spreading the dough should be easy. Baking times are usually about 10-12 minutes in a 450 degree oven, on the middle rack.

Before topping, put the sauce on your pizza first. Then put whatever you want on it. It's your pizza, right?

Want a vessel sink ?

Bathrooms are the second most important room in your home! Vessel Sinks, Stone Sinks, Copper Sinks,Vessel Faucets, Kitchen Sinks For Every Bathroom And Kitchen Design

One of the more very important considerations with the booming bathroom redecorate advertised is without a doubt as well as the bathroom sink cabinets you may get. In addition to the put once more, the bathroom cabinets at some point discover the look, purpose and even in general good thing about one of the more very important houses inside your home.

Remodeling your bathroom can add huge value to your home. ... But also a few small changes can make a big difference and gives a fresh new appearance to the overall ...

But you have one more choice...

If you have an old white batroom sink, whether you are looking to freshen it up with a new coat of white paint or want a change of color, you can paint most bathroom sinks. Rather than purchasing a new one, painting your sink is an inexpensive way to add a new look to your bathroom.

There are products that are designed for painting tubs that can also be used for sinks. An example of a product that can be used for most sinks is Homax Tub and Tile Brush-On Finish. It can be color-tinted if desired.

For herb & spice lovers

Do You Use Herbs and Spices to Give Your Cooking a Fresh Twist?...

If your answer is 'yes' you might want to take a look at these spice racks:))

If you need to purchase kitchen spice racks & spice rack accessories shipped quickly and free ! Just check them out and choose one for yourself:) Also a spice rack might be a great gift for your loved ones. Have you ever thought of it?

Do you prefer a countertop spice rack or a in drawer spice rack? Actuall,y I would choose a cabinet spice rack. I don't like anything that sits on a counter and takes up space.

If you're trying to figure out an ideal spice solution, the key is to find what gives you most of what you want. You might also create your own spice solution. That would be also an economical way to orginize your spices, of course. Adding a shelf organizer to your kitchen cabinet and collecting the same size jars you used earlier. Don't discard them. They would give the most beautiful solution to you. All you need is putting labels on them.

It makes you to look at it! Feels like a work of beauty:))

Enjoy your kitchen!

Being a horse person

Guest post from: Kent Lara

Being a rider isn’t just a hobby, it’s a way of life. There are very few days that go by that I don’t do something big for my horses like going to the stables and riding them or buying them stuff on my Internet in Follet Texas or talking to trainers about the best way to break their steps. It’s funny because I know they don’t really appreciate it in the long run because, well, they’re just horses, but I sure don’t mind doing it since being with my animals is what I love. I think you’re either a horse personor you’re not and I definitely am so I guess I’m going to keep spending all my free time and money on these guys until I get older. I can think of worse hobbies to devote my everything to, you know what I mean? At least this one is wholesome and family friendly so it will transfer one day when I have a wife and some kids! That’s what I tell myself, anyway.

A good friend and a glass of wine..enjoy!

There’s nothing better than sharing a love of wine with someone you know well. Good wine is a must. Wine gifts are always popular, so make sure you have a back up plan if they should go out of stock or you can do it online too! You’ll find an even bigger selection of wine gifts if you search online.

An excellent Chianti Classico !

Isn't it a good suggestion:)) Cheers!

Wine lovers know this very well. There are several factors to consider when selecting a bottle of wine: price, preference and pairing. Once you settle on your price range, your style and taste prefences will play a key role in directing your decision.

Look, smell and taste, it's that easy.

So, you worry about the calories? How many calories are in a glass of red wine? Well, that depends somewhat on the person pouring the glass of red wine. A typical restaurant pour of red wine is 5 ounces, yet most of the trendy diets that allow wine, recommend 4 ounces of red wine as a standard serving size. When it comes to the number of calories in a glass of red wine, you can figure approximately 25 calories per ounce of red wine. So your glass of red wine at a typical restaurant tops out at 125 calories. While the standard "diet-friendly" glass of red wine only weighs in at 100 calories per 4 ounce, not bad!

Most of you guys know that I like wine:)

But, I haven't share with you guys my pictures lately, how scany Iam now! So proud:)))

Love y'all! And of course,

cheers!!!
