17 Again ???/ Updated ๐Ÿ’•

Updated๐Ÿ’•
I've been checking out the old posts of mine yesterday, saw this post and thought of a talk with my 15 year old last week. He was looking for a movie, asked me about a movie that caught his eye. As a teenager and also a fan of Zac Efron, he said 'Ma, what about 17 again, I really wanna see Zac in this movie.'
It was a movie I mentioned in the one of my posts when I saw the movie for the first time in 2009. Aria was only 7 years old. 8 years ago...Now, he is a teenager, unbelievable ๐Ÿ’•

Life is like a movie. In each role, each of us, the actor accumulates experiences and adds to their resume of roles. A life story!
The important thing to remember is not to take things too seriously and enjoy the role..every year, every month, every day, every moment!

-------๐Ÿ’•---------

I invited one of my fun friends to brunch yesterday. I'm glad I did :-)
My husband took my son Aria to the skatepark and I spent a few hours with my friend.
We were just like high school kids :-) I'm serious...We started to talk about actors. Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Paul Walker, Russell Crowe.. Did I say George Clooney ? ;-)
Oh, yeah I did, hehe...We laughed a lot!
It was really FUN!!!

I guess I can start dating my husband again. Hahaha...

Yesterday, made me feel just like a 17 year old girl! Have you ever thought if you could be 17 again, what you would want to do differently?
When I asked this question to myself, I thought that I would need to make a list! Really!..
But then I realized that the answer is short and easy!

I would want to be Aria's mom again :-) But I would enjoy every step of my youngness more than I did..

Have you seen the movie '17 Again' yet? It is a good one!

I gotta tell you..I made my 'cheesy bread' for brunch and my friend loved it.

 Time Out for Theta Mom!

Have a great Thursday!!

  1. I never saw that movie Yonca, but it looks really cute. Oh, to be 17 again! I would do some things differently, knowing what I know now. Wasn't life so easy back then? Our priorities are so different now.

Spending some QT with a friend is always refreshing, especially talking about the good old days!

Glad you enjoyed the day! Thanks again for playing along Theta girl!

  4. I really didn't enjoy the high school life, but 17 is when it started to get good. I guess it is one of those things were if I did anything differently it would change the outcome, then I wouldn't. But I would enjoy it a whole lot more!

  6. I haven't seen that movie but I bet it is cute. I don't think I would want to be 17 again. I met my hubby when I was 18, so I could be 18 again though.

  9. I would love a redo on a few things too...

but I want to keep my boys. No redo on them. I would not go into education. I would use my math/science skills for some serious $$$ instead

  10. I haven't seen the movie yet but if I was 17 all over again, I would be bold enough to try things I was intimidated to try. I would also push for becoming a doctor instead of giving up.

  13. I loved the movie! It was cute. If I were 17 again, I think I would try to worry less about what other people thought. I was very preoccupied with that when I was younger because I never felt like I fit in anywhere. Now that I'm older and hopefully a bit more wiser, I don't worry so much about what people think. You can take me or leave me; I don't need to win any popularity contests. lol

    Have a great weekend!

  14. I've been wanting to see that movie...I'll have to see if it's on Netflix!

The time you spent with your friend sounds fun! I think if I were 17 again I'd have spent more time doing extra curricular activities in school instead of hanging out with a boyfriend who treated me horribly. My whole life revolved around him. If I could go back and slap myself silly, I would!

  18. I haven't seen the movie yet but really want to.

When I was 17, little did I know that in three short years I would be married and having my first child! It would be so nice to go back but only for a little while cause I'm happy where I ended up.

  21. Hi girl, I love love this post especially your answer on the question if you could be 17 again, what would you want to do:

I would want to be a Aria's mom again :-)

I love love the answer. Same with me if somebody asked me that question, my answer will be basically like yours.

    1. Thanks Sara,
17 again sounds like a movie for kids, teens but actually #17Again is very much a story for adults and older teens. It’s so much fun from start to finish.

    1. Hi Liz,
Troublemaker? Lol.. 17 is a crazy age. There was a few things i would change if we get a chance to rewrite our lives and if I would change even a single decision I made, I wouldn't stay in the same city. So, my life would be totally different. I wouldn't meet my husband. The worst part, scares me is Aria wouldn't be Aria.
